Bruce Friedland is the former Travel Editor at the Baltimore Sun. His articles and photographs have appeared in publications around the country, and under his direction, the Sun's Travel section was named the best U.S. newspaper Travel section in its circulation category in 2004 and 2005 in the annual Lowell Thomas Competition. The Lowell Thomas awards, sponsored by the American Society of Travel Editors, are considered the most prestigious honors in the field of travel journalism.

Friedland, a longtime Annapolis resident, specializes in making images of his hometown and the surrounding Chesapeake Bay region. He is available for commissioned work, including home and property portraits, commercial real estate images and document and evidence photography.
