Greenbury Point, located at the mouth of the Severn River across the water from Annapolis, is a treasure, and surprisingly, one that seems to be frequented by only a small number of walkers, joggers and nature lovers. The 231-acre natural preserve is home to a variety of wildlife and habitats, as well as the commanding radio towers that were crucial to the American war effort during World War II. Greenbury Point is a great place for a peaceful walk or run, and there is always something interesting to photograph there.
